Rants [Mar. 5th, 2010|06:39 pm]
Just a few things I want to put out there

1) I did not change to CJ so that I could keep people I know out of jail.

2) The same rumor has been going around every day this week about that respective night. We have rook-specific activities tomorrow, we are not going to get black name tags today!

I guess thats really it for now, but seriously people! Come on, hold off on the drama till after spring break will you?

preconceptions [Mar. 3rd, 2010|10:05 pm]
This might surprise some of you. 85% of the victims of hate crimes are WHITE. 37% are between 30 and 50 years old.

War update [Feb. 18th, 2010|09:24 am]
[Tags|, ]

Just an update on the student vs headquarters war at school. Students have taken the field. The person who was the main cause of the problem has been "reassigned" and the cadre have not handed out a DAF in a few days, and have generally slacked off on most things.

This is war! [Feb. 15th, 2010|10:33 am]
[Tags|]

My cadre pulled a complete 180 last nigh and the entire platoon got reamed hard for everything we could have. Today, 13 people had punishment paperwork filed on them for one of the smallest things we could have. I was not one of them, but I was curious if this was a campus wide change or just us. While asking around I found out something interesting. My battalion has decided to file the maximum amount of paperwork possible to overload headquarters with paperwork to protest the way things have been handled this year. While I don't like that the freshmen are coming out the victims here, I am excited to see that the students have started a war with headquarters in a effort to return this school to what is was and should be.

Even some freshmen have joined the battle and volunteered to have paperwork filed on them and intentionally messed up so that the cadre would have something to write. My semester just got very interesting.

Just a broad thank you [Jan. 23rd, 2010|09:45 am]
[Tags|, ]

I am now half way through my first year at Norwich. when my math grade gets added in to my GPA I will have a 3.42. I moved to New Hampshire in the summer of 2007, and i was a very different person before that. my GPA sophomore year was a 1.75.

I want to take a second to thank everyone in my LJ community for all the help and support they have given me. I know what I would not be in 1/2 as good of place right now if it had not been for many of you. Of course, Trish, Matt and my mom and dad are the ones kind enough to give me a second chance to turn my life around. I cant thank them enough; especially Trish and Matt for letting me move in with them and for everything they have done for me.

All of you have helped me in more then one way, and I appreciate it very much. I am not going to name everyone -I'm sure I would leave one out by my mistake- but I have all of you to thank for where I am now.

Yep, its a small town [Jan. 20th, 2010|09:07 pm]
The owner of the restaurant that I worked at last spring (also the head lunch lady at school) gave my girlfriend's dad my W2 form so that he could get it to me because she new that I was at college and she didn't have the address.

Yeah, we might have been together a little while, and yeah, it might be a small town.

Back on the Hill [Jan. 17th, 2010|05:40 pm]

I just got back to school today. New semester classes start tomorrow. Im excited about classes and that I'm half way through the year at this point. I am not however excited that I seem to have caught my girlfriends sickness from last night. There is going to be a lot of yelling soon just cause we just got back from break, and my head is pounding as it is. There was no sleep last night, and 0530 wake up starts tomorrow morning.

Now if only I can figure out why my BP and heart rate feel through the roof, and I feel nauseous, I might be able to fix it and start the semester off on a good foot and not sick as a dog. Most of brake was great, why did I have to end up going back sleep deprived and sick? Most of us are excited to be back, but well see how long that lasts.

-Army PFT today, for a grade: [passed, 260/300] quite a good score actually.

-Got my math quiz back today, 100%

-presentation for call postponed until monday, more time to work on it.

-Passed room inspection with flying colors

-Artillery company celebrated the solum occasion of St. Barbers (patron saint of artillery) day today with AC/DC and cannon fire.
